Karnak temple just north of Luxor. Heavily restored it is amazing just for its sheer size

After Luxor, we flew to Sharm el Shiek for a few days to do lots of snorkling and just plain pool sitting

Next we were on to Cairo, which gave us incredibly easy access to the Pyramids. From this spot we are 20 minutes from downtown Cairo!

Next to the great pryamid of Khufu (Cheops) were the Queen's Pyramids

| And just beyond all of this was the Sphinx, surprisingly small after seeing the Pyramids. |
